Ukraine's air force destroys Russian bridge in Kursk region／Sky Newsアメリカから供与された高機動ロケット砲システム（HIMARS）が使用されたとみられる一連の攻撃に先立ち、ウクライナ軍はクルスク州のセイム川に架かる3本の橋（ロシア軍が補給路として使用していた）を破壊していた。ロシア軍は浮橋を設置して新たな補給路の確保を試みたが、その浮橋も破壊された形だ。
＜ウクライナ軍による突然の「国境を越えた進軍」への対応に追われるロシア軍。その慌てぶりが表れたような「誤射」の瞬間が撮影されていた＞
ロシア側は、「対テロ作戦」でウクライナ軍の進軍を阻止したと主張するが、ロシア側の軍事ブロガーたちや西側のアナリスト、ウクライナの当局者らは、ウクライナ軍が今もクルスク州で進軍を続けていると指摘している。
そうしたなかで公開された動画には、ロシア軍の攻撃ヘリKa-52がウクライナとの国境地帯にあるクルスク州の町スジャ近郊で、同じロシア軍の装甲車の車列を攻撃した瞬間と見られるシーンが映っている。

ロシア黒海艦隊のうち3分の1が、ウクライナ側の攻撃によって戦闘不能の状態に陥っていることをウクライナ海軍報道官が発表。この数字は、アメリカのシンクタンクなど他の複数の推計とも一致している。
同艦隊の旗艦だったミサイル巡洋艦「モスクワ」の撃沈が2022年4月に沈没したほか、クリミア半島にあるセバストポリ海軍基地などのインフラ施設もウクライナ軍が空爆を行っている。
こうした空爆には多くの場合、「水上ドローン」（無人艇）などの無人兵器が使用されており、ウクライナ軍のその使用技術力や戦略がロシア海軍を消耗させている。
