ロシア黒海艦隊のうち3分の1が、ウクライナ側の攻撃によって戦闘不能の状態に陥っていることをウクライナ海軍報道官が発表。この数字は、アメリカのシンクタンクなど他の複数の推計とも一致している。
同艦隊の旗艦だったミサイル巡洋艦「モスクワ」の撃沈が2022年4月に沈没したほか、クリミア半島にあるセバストポリ海軍基地などのインフラ施設もウクライナ軍が空爆を行っている。
こうした空爆には多くの場合、「水上ドローン」（無人艇）などの無人兵器が使用されており、ウクライナ軍のその使用技術力や戦略がロシア海軍を消耗させている。
